Do not support it!!!! its only a raquet to get your monet. its very abusive and will not help with the problem.. withdraws are much longer that regular opiates . If you are serious about quitting look into suboxone treatment it helps much more!

No, please support it, if definitely helps. Don't be ignorant. It's proven to reduce crime. It's helping people get their lives back and putting families back together. Yes, withdrawal is longer (if you abuse it), but this is government, doctor, and nurse supervised... there shouldn't be any withdraw period. Suboxone isn't any better, Trust me. Its abused more, and is more readily available on the street... which means people are abusing it...

I've been through both, and suboxone didn't work. I have successfully made it through Methadone treatment (as have 1000's of others) and I DO support it. The could be greatly improved by giving Doctor's and nurses more freedom to do their jobs, but that will be up to lawmakers.
